How we check quality

  1. 1

    Choosing the producer

Our own team audits the farms, processors and packers we buy from: their facilities, their hygiene and their licences. We buy only from FSSAI-licensed or registered suppliers and keep a record of every purchase.

  2. 2

    Agreeing the specification

Grade, size, moisture, packing and labelling are written down and agreed with you before anything is packed.

  3. 3

    Checking before shipment

The goods are inspected against that specification when they are received, and again before they are loaded.

  4. 4

    Getting the papers right

Certificates of origin, health and phytosanitary certificates and the rules of your country are checked before the cargo leaves India.

  5. 5

Keeping it cold to the port

Our cold-store and freight partners keep frozen goods at −18 °C or below (chilled goods at 5 °C or below), from cold store and container stuffing to loading on the vessel. We monitor their temperature records closely.

  6. 6

    Testing in the laboratory

Products are tested for chemical and microbiological contaminants at NABL-accredited or FSSAI-recognised laboratories, at regular intervals and whenever a shipment or a buyer requires it.
